At NexDrive, we recommend that you have a periodic inspection service for your electric car every 2 years or at 30,000km.
Your car will be checked for the most important safety points and elements including the cabin filter and brake fluid, consumables will be replaced if required.
What Does an EV Service Include?
Are you curious about which points are checked during your EV service? Here’s an outline of all the inclusions:
- Standard visual inspection in and around the car
- Check wear and pressure of tyres
- Testing, cleaning and measuring the brakes including brake pads and discs
- Checking the air conditioning and exhaust temperature
- Checking all lighting
- Top up windshield washer fluid
- Check all other fluids including coolant, differential, etc.
- 12-volt battery test with printed results report
- Reading and remedying any malfunction codes
Parts such as brakes, tyres and suspension elements are subject to wear. They should be checked regularly and replaced if necessary.
